Error messages on Hayward Var Speed Pump. Replace digital control interface necessary?

I've got an EcoStar IS3401VSP. It somehow switched itself into quick clean mode sometime in the last day or so. When I pressed stop/resume to return to normal operation, nothing happened, so I switched it off at the power supply (just a switch by the pump, not all the way at the breaker). I flipped the power back on and now I'm getting error messages.

The one that stays on screen is Keypad Failed Key Error: 68. When I press any other button, the error number changes, but always goes back to 68 when I release the button.

The pump seems to be stuck in this error state and I'm wondering if replacing the control interface is necessary at this point. Any help would be appreciated.
